Handtuch 1, (from the series "Handtucher")

„Handtuch 1“  was finished about a year after the outbreak of the corona pandemic as the first painting of a series. In this one you can see the flowers more clearly than in the other more abstracted painting. The flowers were found on a towel and whenever the artist encountered it, the flowers stimulated their thoughts. Pretty much all of us have spend some time at home, maybe finding things we look at quite often. The painting process took time from 2020 to 2022.
